The Personal Training Manager is responsible for providing leadership and support to a team of Personal Trainers and their clients. Involve as many Defined Fitness members as possible in the personal training programs through the sale and education about the program. You are responsible for overall quality and member satisfaction with regards to personal training. Responsible for overall personal training sales, sales reporting, sales training, renewal tracking, educating personal trainers and team members about personal training. Participate in the overall leadership and management of the Club.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
o Drive personal training revenue through the sale of personal training packages and renewals
o Focus on customer service excellence and member and personal training client retention
o PT account issues, contract management, etc.
o Collaborate with management in hiring, training and leading of the personal training team
o Provide ongoing reporting to management on team performance
o Provide support and follow up to clients
o Cover personal training client sessions, as needed
o Provide feedback to trainers' professionalism, service, clients, and personal training skills
Qualifications
o A nationally recognized Personal Training Certification must be maintained throughout employment
o Bachelor’s degree in a health/fitness related field, preferred
o A minimum of one year of sales experience, preferred
o A minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity, preferred
o PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products
o Must have a valid CPR/AED certification, including infant and child, on your first day of employment and maintain valid certification throughout employment
o Must have a thorough understanding of how to use all exercise equipment and evaluate member needs
o Ability to maintain a flexible sales oriented schedule that covers high traffic times as well as close outs, evenings, weekends and possible holiday schedules
