We are seeking an Assistant Fitness Manager (AFM)


The Assistant Fitness Manager:

  • Is responsible for aiding and exceeding club goals, including personal training, small group personal training, supplements and personal sales
  • Owns new member on-boarding and delivering a dynamic, quality fitness experience to all members.
  • Responsible for total team execution of all company quality assurance standards.
  • Hires, trains and develops a strong team of Personal Trainers.
  • Responsible for small group personal training staffing and execution in partnership with key program leaders.
  • Maintains leadership role as the fitness expert for the club team and members.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Personal Sales
  • Staffing and Development
  • Conduct weekly (or as-needed) meetings with direct reports to review performance and offer direction, motivation, guidance and accountability to exceeding goals and objectives.
  • Manage the fitness schedule.
  • Ensures all members have access to a service oriented, well trained, expert fitness team that is able to provide fitness guidance, training and programs.
  • Ensure that all Personal Trainers are delivering high quality programs to their clients.
  • Ensure accurate administration of Personal Training including client profiles, progress tracking, and workout programs.
  • Complete personal training sessions and/or small group training as necessary.

Requirements

Certifications / Education Level


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Must be CPT certified
  • Current CPR and AED
