Job Overview
The Certified Personal Trainer will deliver personalized one-on-one fitness instruction, guiding clients toward achieving their health and fitness goals. As a GYMGUYZ Trainer, you will offer professional expertise tailored to each client's unique needs while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. You must be adaptable to various work environments, including private homes, offices, or any suitable location chosen by the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the workout program developed from the initial assessment.
- Select customized exercises tailored to the client’s needs to ensure optimal results.
- Demonstrate each exercise, ensuring the client performs them correctly, with or without modifications.
- Complete detailed session notes after each client training session.
- Conduct client reassessments every 4-6 weeks to track progress and adjust programs as needed.
- Manage client sessions using GYMGUYZ scheduling software.
- Collect and secure payments from clients when necessary.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Certified Personal Trainer (NCCA or DEAC accredited organization)
- Certified in CPR/AED
- Good communication skills (verbal, written, and technical)
- Knowledge of a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods
- Clean Driver’s License
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform athletic calisthenics duties
- A good understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Certified Personal Trainer (NCCA or DEAC accredited organization)
- Certified in CPR/AED
- At least 1 year of personal training experience
- Good communication skills (verbal, written, and technical)
- Knowledge of a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods
- Clean Driver’s License
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform athletic calisthenics duties
